Reviewing errors in your stock upload file

A practical checklist for missing stones, price-on-request rows, media gaps, duplicates, and live/not-live status.

If stock is not live, first check required fields: certificate or internal reference, carat, shape, color, clarity, availability, price, and currency. For Siemme-owned inventory, incomplete price rows should not silently show as “on request” unless deliberately approved.

If the number of active rows does not match the source file, compare the import report: rows read, rows accepted, duplicates, rows rejected, and rows missing mandatory commercial data.

For media gaps, upload the real supplier image/video where possible. Only use AI previews as a temporary fallback, and label them clearly internally.
